She’ll Take to The LI Stage with The Reggaetón Artist To Perform Their Latest Escápate” and MORE

Long Island, NY (June, 2019) — With her recent Reggaetón-infused hit Escápateadding a whole new dimension to her already dynamic sound, Singer-Songwriter Sammi Rae Murciano and Los Vegas are bringing more of their Summer heat to Long Island as they prepare to take the stage at The Rail (281 W Main St, Smithtown, NY 11787) on Saturday, June 15th from 8-11PM ($5 Adv, 21+)!

The magnetic collaboration brings to life the sentimental romance often featured in Reggaetón hits with an energetically pumping backbeat and laid-back flow that is sure to make it a club hit. Trading lyrics like “If I leave with you, I want to be there with you through the night // I want to feel your arms around me, hold me tight // Your body next to mine, you make me feel so high” with Los Vegas, and the refrain “Never mind what anybody says, I just want to dance the night away, I just want to know if we can escape”, Murciano shows off her vocal prowess in a new genre which she seems just as at home in as her past pop-driven tracks. On working with Vegas, Murciano says “It has been amazing to work together. To collaborate with someone who has the same passion and dedication for music as I do. We are very excited for what’s to come and have a lot of new music coming soon.

Her strong and soulful voice shows an incredible amount of talent and dedication, yet knowing that you have to believe in yourself and have confidence to be successful has been her continued mantra. On her single “Unpredictable”, Murciano continues this mantra saying that the song “talks about not letting anyone stop you from following your dreams”. Rising above any criticisms, she continues “I’ve never let anything that anyone has said to me change me or bring me down, and I like to talk about that to inspire other people who may be going through the same things”.

Her single “Dream Bigger”, released earlier this year, follows a similar story of empowerment through knowing your worth in a relationship, which Murciano elaborated on saying “I have been broken and I have had my heart ripped into pieces. The hardest battle is what you know in your head and what you feel in your heart. Never settle for anything less than you deserve and choose what will make you happy.”

Brooklyn’s Makes My Blood Dance “Beaming Right Up” Music Video

Following Their Single Release This Past March, The Band Is Set to Release Their Visually Explosive New Video Combining Elements of the 1920s with an Otherworldly Dynamic

Beaming1.jpg

Coming off the release of their first single with select fans getting their hands on the select newly minted USB dog tags that featured all 6 songs from their forthcoming EP along with bonus material, lyrics, and album artwork – Disco/Symphonic Metal band Makes My Blood Dance is getting ready to deliver even more! As they continue to add new live shows throughout the Northeastern U.S., the band just released their new “Beaming Right Up” Music Video exclusively via Medium, which called it “unquestionably terrific, full of unbridled, reckless dynamism and muscular tumescence”!

WATCH: Make’s My Blood Dance – “Beaming Right Up” Official Video on YouTube

We wanted to do something elegant and sexy so the theme of the video mixes elements of the roaring 20’s with a middle eastern aesthetic that could be on Mars.  Sort of Great Gatsby meets Blade Runner 2049.” says lead vocalist Evan Russell Saffer. Set in a incredible designer loft in Tribeca, NY, the video was shot in an other-worldly room dripping with details in red and velvet with purple ottoman and a flashing “B” for “Beaming”. With the band and four beautiful model/dancers elevating the environment to match the energy and message of the song, they harness it effortlessly in the captivating visuals, essentially Beaming Right Up themselves. “We all worked very hard and in the end came up with something super fun and riveting to watch” continued Saffer, adding “The biggest blessing was the team of people that we had working on this, all of them. Director Derek Soto (Sinestra Studios) is full of life and had amazing creative angles and equipment that we put to use along with Marisa Ann (Scryer Photo), Mollie Dananberg (Hair), Susan Simmons (Makeup), and our models Cat Ross, Savannah Vinson, Barbara Ramos and Vika Dove.

“Beaming Right Up” is the first of SIX new singles to be released by the band, mixed by Dave Ogilvie (Tool, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie), produced by Kallie Marie (Explosives For Her Majesty, rainMKERS), recorded and engineered with Paul Ritchie (Parlor Mob). The high-octane hit features powerhouse vocals laced melodically through their signature disco metal groove with masterful guitar work. The vibe is Saturday night fever meets guitar hero 2099.

Disco metal – think Rammstein meets The Bee Gees with a touch of symphonic greatness flooding the room amongst an orgy of head banging, dancing and grinding” – Makes My Blood Dance is the latest and greatest new band to come out of Brooklyn, NY’s ever burgeoning music scene. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist/frontman Evan Russell Saffer (Fixer, ERS, RainMKERS) and the guru of technical/witch of the west/guitarist/programmer John Polimeni (Proxima Control) MMBD started taking shape in late 2017. Through patience and determination they began working out arrangements and adding lyrics and melodies as the new music began to flow naturally. Adding a whole new roster of talented musicians, they built the beast one by one enlisting Alex “Mother Russia” Nikitin (Bass) and finally landed Carlos “CK1” Gordillo (Drums) after hiring several fill-in drummers along the way. “John and I knew we had something special and took our time until the family felt complete. I feel lucky to play with these guys” ~ Evan Russell Saffer

Already garnering tons of praise from their masterful live performances, they’ve recently been featured in New Jersey’s The Aquarian with Saffer speaking on everything from the band’s influences to specific tracks on the forthcoming EP.

Songwriter Tommy Botz Drops Latest Country Single “Maggie”

With A True Honky-Tonk Country Feel, The Song’s Story Goes Deeper – Showing Botz’s Lifelong Struggle with Alcohol and The Heartbreak It Causes

TommyBotz1

With a lot of today’s modern country music often glamorizing cold beers and heartache in an ever-continuous chain as a way to deal with pain  – Songwriter Tommy Botz is instead bringing his true-to-life struggle and its consequences to life through his music. Though prominent in many of the songs off his latest release “Family & Friends”, a powerful light is shined on his struggle with the bottle and the lives it can impact in his latest number one single “Maggie”, out now.

With the perfect amount of country twang, brilliant guitar and fiddle work and a deep crooning vocal arrangement a’la vocalist Billy Sullivan, it can be easy to forget the sad story behind the struggle in Botz’s lyrics in “Maggie”. From family life to living in a train car because of the bottle, the song paints a picture of the fall from grace many can suffer from the effects of alcohol and its tightened grasp on those afflicted. The heartfelt refrain says it all “Maggie I’m sorry, tell the kids goodbye // You know I gave it a hell of a try // Maggie I’m sorry, you don’t understand // That a drunk will sell his soul for just one bottle if he can” and goes even deeper with harrowing lines like “What do I do with the memory, that haunts me every day // Lord forgive me, I couldn’t see what the drink was taking away”. But with the songwriters true-to-life story of redemption in recent years, “Maggie” plays out not just as a story of woe but more as a warning to those who should seek help in dealing with the struggles of substance abuse.

LISTEN: “Maggie” via Tommy Botz’s Website

Tommy Botz has come a long way. Now sober for 14 ½ yrs, he’s lived in a halfway house after having “crawled through the doors on May 3rd 2004 of The Ed Keating Center a homeless drunk with nowhere to go”. There he met a kind old man named Jack Mulhall who told him that if he followed some direction he would never have to live like that again. “I wasn’t always a homeless drunk. I had dreams and goals like every young man has. I always loved country and gospel music.” says Botz, whose early interest lead him to become the lead singer in two bands – The Chevells and The Caesars 5 early in his music career, winning a Battle of the Bands and winding up with an RCA recording contract. But after the loss of their guitar player and their contract being pulled, Botz’s drinking got worse and soon penitentiaries became a way of life.

From broken marriages to lost jobs, no car, and no licence – living to drink and drinking to live became his routine. Finally, with several years of sobriety and working under his belt  – he made the decision to go for his dream and finally record some of the over 200+ songs he had written over the years.

One night while I was praying I heard in my heart – go for you dream and I will put someone in your life who believes in your music”, and after contacting Ante Up Studios owner Michael Seifert, the two began a collaboration that would become his 6-song EP “Family and Friends”.

As he continues to receive praise for his songwriting talent in the hopes that his music finds its way to Nashville and a potential collaboration with further established artists, “Maggie” and all of the songs off “Family and Friends” are sure to build a true fanbase for Tommy Botz in the coming year!

Brooke Moriber’s Latest Single “Steal the Thunder” Champions Courage in the Midst of Pain

Off Her Brand New Album “Cry Like A Girl”, The Empowering Track Is One of Encouragement Amidst Heartbreak

Brooke1

Having just dropped her brand new album (OUT NOW via iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon), Singer/Songwriter Brooke Moriber is continuing to show her fans how to “Cry Like A Girl”! But with her latest single “Steal the Thunder”, which hit the Spotify New Music Nashville playlist earlier this month, and which she recently performed live for City Winery’s Cellar Sessions – Moriber focuses on what it means to learn from pain.

LISTEN: Brooke Moriber “Steal the Thunder” via Apple Music

Through its rootsy Americana-driven melody that may seem fit to be played in a sad western barroom, the true message of “Steal the Thunder” is anything but that of melancholy, but rather keeping strength through trying times. “We are stronger than our weakness, if all the broken pieces make you cry, it’s alright” Moriber sings in the song’s refrain, continuing “In your deepest, darkest hour, don’t deny the storm its power // Make something bold and brave out of the pain, steal the thunder from the rain”. Keeping true to many of the central themes of the album, the song focuses more on connecting with your emotions in a positive way rather than letting them destroy your inner courage.

Brooke2

“Cry Like A Girl” was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, with legendary producer Fred Mollin (Sheryl Crow, Vince Gill, Shawn Colvin) at the helm and mixed by 5 time Grammy Winner Chris Lord-Alge (Carrie Underwood, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen). The 11-track release delves into messages of self-discovery, empowerment, and overall growth, which Moriber says embodies the collection as a whole. “Itʼs a statement about the strength that comes from embracing your emotions and allowing yourself to heal and grow. The making of this album was a journey of self discovery for me”.

And with the latest single “Steal the Thunder” continuing the momentum that “Cry Like A Girl” has been gaining since it’s release just last month – Moriber will be bringing it to the stage LIVE for the official release show on Wednesday, June 12th at 7:30PM at Rockwood Music Hall – Stage 2 (196 Allen St, New York, NY 10002)!
