League of YES And Hank’s Yanks Present An Exhibition Baseball Game of Players With Special Needs

July, 2016 (Dix Hills, NY) – On Friday July 8th, 2016, the League of YES in association with Hank’s Yanks and Matt Guiliano’s Play Like A Pro will present a non-competitive exhibition baseball game with players with special needs.

For the past year, 28 players from The League of YES have been training hard with Hank’s Yanks baseball organization and trainers from Matt Guiliano’s Play Like A Pro. The players are eager to show off their skills as true baseball players and show all their fans there are no limits to what they can accomplish. As a special treat, the players will get to experience the thrill of playing under the lights for a crowd of family, friends and baseball fans alike.

The League of YES Skills Program is now in its third year and the progress has been impressive. The growth in each player’s ability, agility, confidence and basic baseball skills has been nothing short of amazing. The families are thrilled, the players are engaged, they all look forward to playing each week and they have also brought the joy of the game back to the trainers. Now it’s time for the players to show off what they have learned so far on a much bigger field, with a bigger crowd and under the bright stadium lights. It is their time to shine. It will be more than just baseball; It is also an opportunity for everyone to recognize the hard work of a number of people that have helped make this happen and to help the players grow.

The event will be held from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. at SUNY Farmingdale’s baseball stadium at 2350 Broadhollow Road in Farmingdale. There will be activities sponsored by Event Kings, a team photographer, baseball cards and trophies for the players. Come experience what the game of baseball is really about and how it is helping these players grow as individuals.
